Born in Hawai`i. Ethnic Hawaiian. Multi-Racial. Obsessed with the sky. Optimistic to a fault. Chronic “smiler.” Single Mom, Private Pilot, Amazon, Dancer, Writer, Eternal Optimist, Survivor.
Zyola is a dreamer who has always been obsessed with the sky, stars and everything that flies. Except insects. Currently, extended unemployment has steered her to return to school in pursuit of a degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering. Her love of aerospace and the belief that a woman could do anything is a recurring theme in her life. She admits she would be further along in her own career and pursuit of dreams if she had only been aware of the many possibilities that existed. Seizing the opportunity to learn all she can now, she is applying her conviction to raising her four year old daughter to be a strong, intelligent, independent woman and highlighting the many opportunities and stories that make up the power of women.
